Arthur Miller school kindly invited anyone interested to join them to hear a short presentation by Paul Conroy from Microsoft. He showed several of the software applications below and sent us these links so that we could do our own investigation. The people who attended were very interested in some of the possibilities for learning and teaching. If you find any of these applications especially useful please add a comment on the discussion bar at the top.
Interface Magazine Lesson Plans
Interface Magazine website has some great lesson plans. One of the latest ones to be added is a lesson plan on how to create your own handwriting font. You cannot save the font to your laptop but you can use the font via a website and print out stuff in your own handwriting. The link for the lesson plans is below. Click on Lesson 59 for the handwriting font lesson. There is also a great lesson plan on making book trailers - which we are in the middle of in my class at the moment.
